1 Day Dar - Mikumi
A beautifully nestled park between the Uluguru Mountains of the Ancient Eastern Arc Mountains to the East and the Great Rift Valley Escarpments to the parks southwest. Transfer from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi takes about 4 – 4.5 hours on a tarmac road. Arrive around noon and go straight for game drives around the park with packed lunch at a picnic site. After lunch we continue with game drive until evening where we heading to the lodge located inside the park.

Starting early in the morning spend a full day game drives around the Mikumi National Park with a packed lunch some animals that can be spotted at Mikumi includes giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, impalas, warthogs, zebras, wildebeests, elands and many other antelopes. Apart from game drives in the park you can also go for a guided walking safari guided by an armed ranger [on request]

3 Day Mikumi - Ruaha
Early morning game drives in Mikumi starting at sunrise. Late breakfast then heading towards Ruaha. Enjoying the amazing scenery en-route while driving to Ruaha national park lunch in Iringa town. Reaching Ruaha in the afternoon, then a light walking safari.

4 Day Ruaha Full Day
Early in the morning with a dramatic topography of mountains, rivers, beautiful sunrise and plains. Its ragged beauty is only outmatched by the variety and density of wildlife and exotic birdlife. Ruaha National Park is home to the largest population of elephants in any East African natural reserve as well as many other animals and birds all attracted to the Great Ruaha River.

5 Day Ruaha Full Day
Second full days of game drive in Ruaha National Park. The park covers 12,950 square kilometers, with a large area of dry savanna. The forest contains Miombo woodlands, Acacia woodlands, Riverside forests and Terminalia scrub. Ruaha and Rungwa areas are home to 450 bird species.

6 Day Ruaha - Dar Es Salaam
Starting early in the morning game drive for some couple hours before dropping to jongomero airstrip for transfer to Dar es salaam or driving back.
It’s been an amazing trip and you’ll have some incredible photos and stories to share with your friends and family back home.
